I’ve been fortunate to have met many wonderful people throughout my years in real estate. Here are some of their thoughts on my service.
“Brad Herrin is quite possibly the hardest working realtor we have ever met. My husband and I have a long association with him and he has handled several real estate deals- both buying and selling- for us. The last was just concluded two months ago. Brad not only sold a rental unit condo for us at the asking price, but also worked tirelessly to help us get the unit ready. He knows the best stager, the best electrician, the best title company, loan officer, you name it. The ads he ran showed our unit at its best because he understands the importance of the first impression that your photo makes. He has excellent contacts in the world of real estate. He is smart, ethical, a tireless worker, and on top of all that, a fine gentleman with old school manners and courtesy.”
“Soon after she married in 2004, our daughter began trying to get us to move to California. And after her child was born in 2007, she became more adamant about it. She and her husband employed the services of Brad Herrin to show us some homes in the area. He proceeded to do so even though there was not much chance that we would buy anything. Each time we visited California he would show us some more houses. Never did he ever try to talk us into buying. In fact, he cautioned against the purchase of some of the houses because of the condition, value or location.
Then, in 2009 the job I had in Michigan was eliminated. I was offered a job in San Diego, so we moved here, and into an apartment. Brad continued to show us more houses. But my wife was not happy here. For her, life in California was not favorable. So, in March of 2010, we moved back to Michigan. Our daughter was still serious about our moving here, and kept working with Brad to find a property that would fit our needs. She found some that she thought would be adequate and sent pictures. In the spring of 2012 my wife flew to San Diego to look at houses, and found one. All I saw was pictures they sent to me. But, I thought if my wife could live with it, I could live with it.
So we had finally decided to purchase a house. Brad’s patience was not in vain. Then the fun began. Since we were in Michigan, and the purchase was from a bank, there were many complications that had to be taken care of by long distance. Brad handled everything. There were no problems he couldn’t solve. Documents had to be processed by email and through web sites. Every step of the way, Brad managed it all. And, when everything was done, and we finally started to move in, there was a bottle of champagne awaiting us, compliments of Brad. In 2014 we decided to put our assets in a living trust.
We had a problem with the house. We were asked by the attorneys to be certain that the trustees will be covered by the title insurance. When we started to check, we found that the title company had disappeared. There was no one at the address, and both phone numbers and the email addresses we had for the company were no longer in service. We contacted Brad and asked for his help in finding who to contact. He quickly found the new title company, talked to an officer and had him send us a copy of the title policy, and give us the information we needed about the trustees. I would hope that by reading this anyone can easily see why we were extremely happy with the work that Brad did for us, and recommend him to anyone who may need his services.”
